1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the BookMyDoc platform (website at bookmydoc.info, mobile applications, and related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BookMyDoc (operated by WikiTechnos).

2. Description of Service

BookMyDoc is an online platform that facilitates appointment booking between patients and healthcare providers (doctors, clinics, and hospitals). Our services include:

Searching and browsing doctor profiles by specialization, location, and availability
Booking, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments
Secure online payment processing for platform fees and consultation fees
Real-time appointment tracking and token management
Patient profile management
Notifications and reminders for upcoming appointments

BookMyDoc is a technology platform and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We are not a healthcare provider. The relationship between patient and doctor is solely between those two parties.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information including your name, email address, and phone number. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Ensuring that your account information remains accurate and up to date

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. If you are booking on behalf of a minor, you accept these terms on their behalf. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Appointments and Bookings

When you book an appointment through BookMyDoc:

Appointment availability is subject to the doctor's schedule and may change without notice
Booking confirmation is subject to successful payment processing (where applicable)
You are responsible for arriving at the clinic at the scheduled time
Doctors reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to emergencies or unavoidable circumstances
BookMyDoc does not guarantee the quality, suitability, or outcome of any medical consultation

5. Payments, Fees, and Refunds

BookMyDoc facilitates payments through third-party payment gateways (Razorpay, Cashfree, and other supported providers). By making a payment, you agree to the following:

Platform Fee: A non-refundable platform fee is charged at the time of booking. This fee covers the cost of maintaining the platform, customer support, and related services.
Consultation Fee: The doctor's consultation fee may be collected online or paid directly at the clinic, as indicated during booking.
Payment Processing: All online payments are processed securely through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. BookMyDoc does not store your card details, bank account information, or UPI credentials.
Refund Policy: If a doctor cancels an appointment, any online payment made will be refunded to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. Platform fees are non-refundable unless the cancellation is initiated by the doctor or BookMyDoc. Refund timelines depend on the payment gateway and your bank.
Currency: All prices and payments are in Indian Rupees (INR).
Failed Payments: If a payment fails after being debited, the amount will be auto-refunded by the payment gateway. Please allow 5-7 business days for the reversal.

6. Cancellation Policy

Users may cancel a booked appointment subject to the following conditions:

Cancellations made more than 4 hours before the appointment time are eligible for a refund of the consultation fee (if paid online). Platform fees are non-refundable.
Cancellations made within 4 hours of the appointment time may not be eligible for a refund.
No-shows (failure to arrive at the scheduled time) are not eligible for any refund.
If a doctor cancels the appointment, a full refund (including platform fee) will be processed automatically.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Provide false or misleading information during registration or booking
Impersonate another person or entity
Use the platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
Engage in abusive, harassing, or threatening behavior toward doctors, clinic staff, or BookMyDoc support personnel
Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the platform

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the BookMyDoc platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and design, is the property of BookMyDoc (WikiTechnos) or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the platform without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

BookMyDoc provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that:

The platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
The information provided by doctors or clinics is accurate or complete
Any particular medical outcome will result from appointments booked through the platform
The platform will meet all of your specific requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BookMyDoc and its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you to BookMyDoc in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Third-Party Services

BookMyDoc integrates with third-party services for payment processing (Razorpay, Cashfree), authentication, and other functionalities. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. BookMyDoc is not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third-party service providers.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated terms on the platform. Your continued use of BookMyDoc after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India. Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation.
